Sunday Neighborhood Outreach

We are fully aware that America’s spiritual landscape has changed. The days of a church being central to a town are behind us. While church bells may sound nice, they no longer call the people to gather for worship. What is more, people’s opinions about churches have drastically changed over the past decade. Deep within, however, we know how much God loves people! Harvest’s desire is to spread the word and let the people of our city experience God’s love. This is why we send out a team. Every Sunday morning we simply give away baked bread and let people know we would love to serve them or pray with them, should they desire. It’s is amazing to see how many friendships we have built and how people are receptive to the love of God. Our Sunday outreaches are simple…our mission is to take Christ’s church to our neighborhoods.
